USING CRIMPS WHEN MAKING NECKLACES

Crimps (small hollow metal beads) are mainly used to fix clasps to the end of the beading wire in necklaces.

Thread the tigertail through the crimp and then through the clasp ( We use Magnetic Clasps) Thread the wire back through the same crimp which forms a loop shape. Next you flatten the crimp using the flat nosed pliers which will hold the clasp in place. To finish off the project you feed the excess tigertail through the beads.
